Zoho Recruit Review 2026: Free Plan, Pricing and Staffing Edition
The two Zoho Recruit editions, in-house Corporate HR and agency Staffing, plan by plan: the free tier's limits, per-recruiter rates on yearly and monthly billing, job caps, paid add-ons and four alternatives.
Zoho Recruit is worth it in 2026 for in-house teams with one to three recruiters and for small staffing agencies that want a low per-seat ATS. The Corporate HR edition has a Forever Free plan for one active job, then Standard at $25 per recruiter a month billed annually ($30 monthly) and Enterprise at $50 ($60 monthly). Agencies buy the Staffing edition instead, whose top plan reaches $75 per recruiter a month billed annually.
The catch: every paid license carries a job cap (10 or 20 active jobs on Corporate), hiring manager logins are sold in packs, and AI matching sits on Enterprise. Closest alternatives: Manatal, Breezy HR, JazzHR and Workable.

Zoho RecruitZoho Recruit sells hiring by the recruiter seat, and each seat comes with a fixed number of open jobs. That one rule decides whether it ends up the cheapest ATS on your shortlist or an invoice padded with extra seats and add-ons.
A single recruiter with eight open roles pays very little; a company where six department heads want their own login, or where one recruiter runs fifteen searches, pays for licenses, packs and add-ons on top.
This review is for HR generalists, talent acquisition leads and agency owners comparing Zoho Recruit with other mid-priced applicant tracking systems. Plan prices, job caps, record limits and add-on rates were read on Zoho's pricing and plan comparison pages on October 19, 2026, for both editions.
The cost scenarios below are our arithmetic on those list prices; HRpresso runs no test lab, so every feature statement reflects what Zoho's own pages list.
Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks 39 ATS tools as of October 19, 2026, and only 16 of them have a free plan; Zoho Recruit is one.
Its Toolradar profile lists it as an alternative to 5 other tools against a category median of 2, so buyers cross-shop it more than the typical ATS.
What is Zoho Recruit?
Zoho Recruit is an applicant tracking system (ATS) with a recruiting CRM built in, made by Zoho, the company behind Zoho CRM and Zoho People. It posts jobs to a careers site and job boards, parses resumes into candidate records, schedules interviews and tracks each candidate through a hiring pipeline.
It ships as two editions with different price lists. Corporate HR is for companies hiring for themselves: Free, Standard and Enterprise, with jobs capped per recruiter license.
Staffing is for agencies that place candidates with clients: Free, Standard, Professional and Enterprise, with client and contact management, forecasts and much higher job caps (100, 250 and 750 active jobs). Pick the edition before comparing prices, because a plan in one edition does not map onto a plan in the other.
On Corporate Standard you get candidate sourcing, resume management, premium job boards, a branded careers site, employee referrals, social recruiting, assessments, standard reports and more than 50 integrations, and Zoho tags the plan "Includes AI".
Enterprise adds AI candidate matching, candidate and staffing portals, Blueprint process rules, advanced analytics, custom reports, SMS and phone integration, auto responders, field-level security and Google Meet and Microsoft Teams integrations.
How Zoho Recruit works
Day to day, Zoho Recruit looks like a CRM: modules for job openings, candidates, interviews and departments, list views you can filter and mass update, and workflow rules that send emails or create tasks when a record changes.
Teams that already run Zoho CRM or Zoho People will feel at home, and because the Zoho People integration starts on Standard, a hire can flow into HR records without a paid connector.
The free plan is a real pipeline with tight edges. Forever Free gives one active job, candidate and email management, interview scheduling, one careers site page and 5 email templates. It caps the account at 5,000 records in all modules and 256MB of storage, and it leaves out free job board postings, resume parsing and reports.
Paid add-ons are not available on Free, so you cannot buy your way past one limit without upgrading.
Standard is where most in-house teams land. Each recruiter license carries 10 active jobs, 250 parsed resumes a day, 100,000 records, 1GB of storage, 5 workflow rules per module and up to 3 Marketplace extensions.
Enterprise doubles the job cap to 20 per license, removes the parsing and record ceilings, raises workflow rules to 50 per module and adds approval processes, time-based actions and webhooks.
The trial starts on Enterprise: Zoho gives 15 days with every Enterprise feature, then moves the account to the Free plan rather than deleting it. The pricing page also lists no forced contracts and a 45-day money-back guarantee, which lowers the risk of trying a yearly plan.
Zoho Recruit key features
Zoho Recruit pricing
Zoho publishes both editions' prices on Zoho Recruit's pricing page and the Corporate plan comparison, read on October 19, 2026; the table below lists every tier.
Yearly billing saves up to 16% against monthly, and local sales taxes are added on top of list prices.
Corporate HR cost, computed from those list prices. One Standard recruiter costs $300 a year on yearly billing and $360 on monthly billing. Three Standard recruiters cost $900 a year billed annually, or $1,080 paying month to month. Three Enterprise recruiters cost $1,800 a year billed annually.
The job cap is the hidden line item. One Standard license covers 10 open roles. A recruiter running 14 searches either buys a second license or adds 10 extra active jobs for $15 a month (billed monthly), which puts that seat at $40 a month on a yearly license.
Hiring managers who need their own login are sold in packs of 10, at $10 a month per pack on monthly billing or $8.34 billed annually; one pack beside three Standard recruiters adds about $100 a year. Video interviews cost $12 per job opening, extra storage $3.50 a month per 5GB, and portal users beyond Enterprise's 10 free licenses $6 a month each.
The Staffing edition, for agencies. The Staffing pricing prices Staffing Standard and Professional at the same rates as Corporate Standard and Enterprise, and adds Staffing Enterprise at $75 per recruiter a month billed annually ($90 monthly).
A five-recruiter agency pays $3,000 a year on Professional and $4,500 on Enterprise, the only Staffing plan with client and vendor portals.
Against the field, for three recruiters on yearly billing. Manatal Professional is $540 a year at $15 per user billed yearly, capped at 15 jobs per account; Manatal Enterprise is $1,260 with unlimited jobs.
JazzHR Hero is $1,000 a year for the company. Breezy HR Startup is $157 a month billed yearly, $1,884 a year, flat per company. Workable Standard is $3,588 a year for companies of 1 to 20 employees.

Who Zoho Recruit is for
Zoho Recruit fits in-house teams with one to three recruiters who keep fewer than 10 roles open per recruiter: a 40-person software company hiring steadily, a clinic group with one talent lead, a manufacturer that hires in seasonal waves.
At that size the Standard license undercuts most flat-priced ATS plans, and the free plan lets a founder run a first hire before paying anything. For other no-cost options, see the best free applicant tracking systems.
It also fits small staffing agencies that want an ATS and client CRM in one product at a published price. JazzHR, by contrast, states that its standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies.
Compare Zoho with the agency-first tools in the best recruiting CRM ranking and the Recruit CRM review.
It is a weaker fit in three cases. A company that wants every hiring manager inside the tool will pay less on per-company pricing such as Breezy HR or on Manatal, whose plans include unlimited hiring managers; see our Manatal review.
A small company that wants HR records, time off and onboarding in the same bill should look at Workable. And a team that posts a handful of jobs a year and wants the lowest flat bill may prefer JazzHR.

Best Zoho Recruit alternatives
If Zoho Recruit is not the right fit, these are the closest options.

The bottom line
Zoho Recruit is a strong buy when recruiters are few and open roles per recruiter stay under the cap. One or two Standard licenses cost less than almost any flat-priced ATS, the free plan is a fair way to run a first hire, and the 45-day money-back guarantee takes the sting out of paying yearly.
Agencies get a published per-seat price for an ATS with client management, which matters because JazzHR's standard pricing excludes them.
Count logins and open jobs before you sign. If many hiring managers need access, Manatal or Breezy HR usually cost less. If one recruiter juggles more than 10 roles, budget for the jobs add-on or Enterprise. If you need AI matching or approvals, compare Enterprise with Manatal Enterprise and JazzHR Plus rather than Standard.
Methodology: plan prices, job caps, record limits and add-on rates were read on Zoho Recruit's pricing page, the Corporate plan comparison, the Staffing plan comparison and the pricing pages of Manatal, Breezy HR, JazzHR and Workable on October 19, 2026.
Annual and per-team costs are our arithmetic on those list prices. Toolradar figures come from its ATS ranking and Zoho Recruit profile as of October 19, 2026. We run no test lab and give no star rating.
