Manatal Review 2026: $15 ATS Pricing, Pros and Cons

What each Manatal plan costs on yearly and monthly billing, where the 15-job cap and per-user pricing bite, and how it compares with Breezy HR, JazzHR, Workable and Zoho Recruit.

TL;DR

Manatal is worth it in 2026 for a small in-house team or recruitment agency with one to four recruiters who want AI candidate matching at a low seat price. Professional costs $15 per user a month billed yearly ($19 monthly), Enterprise $35 ($39) and Enterprise Plus $55 ($59); Custom is quoted on request. Prices were read on Manatal's pricing page on October 19, 2026.

The catch: Professional stops at 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates per account, workflow automation starts on Enterprise, and SSO and the open API sit on Enterprise Plus. Because every recruiter is a seat, the bill grows with the team. Closest alternatives: Breezy HR, JazzHR, Workable and Zoho Recruit.

Manatal prices hiring by the recruiter, and that makes it one of the cheapest ways into a modern ATS for a small team. At the Professional rate, three recruiters on yearly billing pay $540 a year, less than any of the four alternatives in this review charges for the same three recruiters.

Hiring managers who only review candidates do not add to the bill: every plan includes unlimited hiring managers.

Methodology: this review is for HR leads, talent teams and agency owners deciding whether Manatal fits their hiring volume.

We read Manatal's pricing page and its plan FAQ on October 19, 2026, worked out yearly costs for teams of one to five recruiters, and set Manatal beside Breezy HR, JazzHR, Workable and Zoho Recruit, each priced on its own pricing page the same day.

HRpresso did not run a hiring process in Manatal; every feature claim below is what Manatal's own pages list.

Toolradar data: among the 35 HR and recruiting tools with a verified per-user entry price on Toolradar, the median is $6 per user a month, as of October 2026.

That category mixes recruiting tools with general HR software, so treat the median as context rather than a benchmark: Manatal's seat price sits above it, but only recruiters need a seat.

What is Manatal?

Manatal is an applicant tracking system with a built-in recruitment CRM: software that posts jobs, collects and parses applications, moves candidates through hiring pipelines and, for agencies, tracks client companies and contacts.

Its pricing page lists AI candidate enrichment from social profiles, CV parsing, AI recommendations of candidates for each job, a branded career page and GDPR, CCPA and PDPA compliance tools.

The plans stack by volume and control. Professional covers up to 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates per account. Enterprise removes both caps and adds workflow automation.

Enterprise Plus adds an advanced report builder, ChatGPT, Claude and LLM integration, the Manatal open API, a candidate portal with internal mobility, custom permissions and user groups, single sign-on and priority support. Custom adds a dedicated account manager, phone support and custom integrations.

How Manatal works

Day to day, Manatal works like a pipeline board per job. Candidates arrive from the career page, job boards, a LinkedIn Chrome extension, forwarded emails or bulk CV uploads, and Manatal parses each CV into a profile it can enrich and score against the job description.

Recruiters move candidates through custom stages, log calls, emails and interviews as activities, and share specific jobs or profiles with hiring managers.

The job limit is the number to understand before you buy. Manatal's FAQ says the limit counts jobs per account, not per user, and that one job can hold unlimited headcount. So a company hiring five sales reps uses one job, while an agency running 20 client searches at once needs Enterprise no matter how few recruiters it has.

The 14-day free trial needs no card and opens features from every plan, except free and premium job board posting, sending email from the Manatal domain, mass emailing, email automations, AI-generated job descriptions and the GDPR consent request tool.

Job board posting also needs account verification after the first payment, which Manatal says usually takes up to three working days.

Manatal key features

AI matching on every planEssential
Manatal lists AI candidate enrichment, CV parsing and AI recommendations of candidates for each job on its plan comparison. Several rivals sell AI as credits or keep it for higher tiers.
Per-user pricing with free hiring managersEssential
Each recruiter is a paid seat, but every plan includes unlimited hiring managers. A small recruiting team with many interviewers pays only for the recruiters.
Job and candidate caps on Professional
Professional allows 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates per account. Enterprise removes both, which matters most for agencies with many open client searches.
Recruitment CRM
Client and contact tracking sits next to the ATS, so an agency can manage business development and placements in one tool.
Enterprise Plus controls
SSO, user groups, custom permissions, the open API and priority support are Enterprise Plus features, per Manatal's FAQ.

Manatal pricing

Manatal publishes three priced plans and one custom plan on Manatal's pricing page, read on October 19, 2026. Prices are per user per month; the yearly plan rates are the lower figures and the monthly plan rates sit $4 higher on each tier. Manatal says it charges no tax outside Singapore.

Yearly cost, computed from those list prices. One recruiter on Professional pays $180 a year on yearly billing or $228 monthly. Three recruiters pay $540 on Professional, $1,260 on Enterprise and $1,980 on Enterprise Plus, all billed yearly. Five recruiters on Enterprise pay $2,100 a year.

Against the alternatives, for three recruiters on yearly billing: Zoho Recruit Standard at $25 per recruiter a month billed annually comes to $900 a year with 10 active jobs per recruiter license.

JazzHR Hero is $1,000 a year billed annually, with job postings starting at 3 a month. Breezy HR Startup is $157 a month billed yearly, $1,884 a year for the whole company with unlimited users and positions.

Workable Standard prints $3,588 a year billed annually for companies of 1 to 20 employees.

The break-even with Breezy: Manatal Enterprise costs $420 per recruiter a year on yearly billing, so up to four recruiters pay less than Breezy Startup's flat fee and a fifth recruiter tips it over. Teams that expect to grow past four recruiters should price both.

Manatal pros and cons

What we like

  • Professional's yearly rate is the lowest paid entry among the five tools here for one to three recruiters.
  • AI enrichment, CV parsing and candidate recommendations are listed on every plan.
  • Unlimited hiring managers on every plan, plus a 14-day trial with no card.

What could be better

  • Professional caps the account at 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates.
  • Workflow automation needs Enterprise; SSO, user groups and the API need Enterprise Plus.

Who Manatal is for

Manatal fits recruitment agencies and in-house teams with one to four recruiters who want AI matching and a CRM without an enterprise contract: a boutique agency running a handful of client searches, a startup's first talent hire, an HR generalist who also recruits.

Unlimited hiring managers means interviewers and department heads can review candidates without raising the bill.

It is a weaker fit for a company with a large recruiting team, where Breezy's flat company price or Workable's employee-band pricing can come out cheaper, and for any team that needs more than 15 open jobs but does not want to pay the Enterprise rate.

The bottom line

Manatal is a strong pick when the recruiting team is small and the hiring volume is real. AI matching on every plan, a CRM for agency work and unlimited hiring managers make Professional good value for one to three recruiters, as long as 15 open jobs is enough.

Budget for Enterprise once you pass that cap or want workflow automation, and for Enterprise Plus only if you need SSO or the API.

Pick something else when the math favors flat or headcount pricing. Breezy HR undercuts Manatal Enterprise from five recruiters up and is free for one role, JazzHR Hero suits a company posting a few jobs a month, Workable suits a company that wants HR in the same bill, and Zoho Recruit suits a team already on Zoho.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Manatal cost in 2026?

Manatal Professional costs $15 per user a month billed yearly or $19 monthly, Enterprise $35 or $39, and Enterprise Plus $55 or $59. The Custom plan is quoted on request. Prices are per user, with unlimited hiring managers on every plan, as read on Manatal's pricing page on October 19, 2026.

Is Manatal worth it?

For one to four recruiters, usually yes: AI matching, a recruitment CRM and unlimited hiring managers come with the cheapest plan, and three recruiters on Professional pay $540 a year on yearly billing. It is less attractive for large recruiting teams, where a flat-priced ATS like Breezy HR costs less, or for teams that need more than 15 jobs on the entry plan.

What are the limits of Manatal's Professional plan?

Professional allows up to 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates per account, not per user, and one job can cover unlimited headcount. Workflow automation is not included; it starts on Enterprise, which also removes the job and candidate caps.

Does Manatal have a free trial?

Yes, 14 days with no card required. The trial opens features from all three plans except job board posting, email sent from the Manatal domain, mass emailing, email automations, AI-generated job descriptions and the GDPR consent request tool. Job board posting also needs account verification after the first payment.

Manatal vs Breezy HR: which is cheaper?

It depends on how many people recruit. Manatal charges per user, so on yearly billing Enterprise costs less than Breezy HR Startup's flat company price for up to four recruiters. From five recruiters up, Breezy's flat fee with unlimited users is cheaper, and Breezy also has a free plan for one open position.
