Ashby Pricing 2026: Foundations From $300, Plus and Enterprise Quotes
Ashby Foundations costs $300 to $900 a month by headcount up to 100 employees, 10% less on annual plans. Plus, Enterprise, SSO and add-on costs, October 2026.

Ashby costs $300 to $900 a month on its Foundations plan, depending on company headcount, for companies of up to 100 employees, per its pricing page checked on 18 October 2026. Annual plans cost 10% less, so the range becomes $270 to $810 a month. Companies of 101 to 1,000 employees get a custom Plus quote, and 1,000+ employees get a custom Enterprise quote.
Ashby's pricing page shows one number at a time behind a company-size menu and a billing toggle, with $400 as the default, which is why most roundups quote that figure as the starting price even though it is the 11 to 25 employee band, not the smallest one. This page prints all five bands, prices the add-ons and shows where Ashby sits against Workable, Greenhouse and Lever. For whether the product earns the price, start with our Ashby review.
How much does Ashby cost at each headcount?
Ashby prices Foundations by the size of your whole workforce at the point of purchase, not by recruiter seats or open jobs. Its FAQ says the price is reassessed annually, and that once the organization passes 100 people it moves to custom pricing.
| Company size | Monthly billing, per month | Annual billing, per month | Per year, annual billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 10 employees | $300 | $270 | $3,240 |
| 11 to 25 employees | $400 | $360 | $4,320 |
| 26 to 50 employees | $500 | $450 | $5,400 |
| 51 to 75 employees | $700 | $630 | $7,560 |
| 76 to 100 employees | $900 | $810 | $9,720 |
| 101 to 1,000 employees (Plus) | Custom quote | Custom quote | Custom quote |
| 1,000+ employees (Enterprise) | Custom quote | Custom quote | Custom quote |
Annual figures apply the 10% saving Ashby's FAQ states for annual plans relative to monthly ones. Monthly plans must be paid by credit card; annual plans can also be paid by direct deposit or wire.
The price per employee falls fast as you grow. At 10 employees on annual billing, Foundations works out to $27 per employee per month; at 100 employees it is $8.10. A 10-person startup pays a premium for a tool sized for scale, while a company near the top of the range gets the same platform for less than a third of that per head.
The band edges are where the bill jumps. Moving from 25 to 26 employees adds $1,080 a year on annual billing, and moving from 50 to 51 or from 75 to 76 adds $2,160, the largest steps in the table. A company planning to hire past a band edge during the contract year should ask how the annual reassessment works before it signs.
Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, evaluated 39 applicant tracking systems for its ranking, updated 14 October 2026. Ashby is listed there as an alternative to 26 other tools, seventh of the 39, which puts it among the systems buyers most often weigh against each other.
What the Foundations plan includes
Ashby sells one price for the whole platform: its FAQ says there is no charge per module across the ATS, sourcing, CRM, scheduling and analytics. It also says integrations cost nothing extra, and that baseline onboarding and Customer Success support are included for every customer. For a small team replacing an ATS, a sourcing tool and a scheduling tool, that consolidation is the main financial argument.
Foundations includes the parts most teams under 100 employees use: automated multi-channel sequences, the sourcing Chrome extension, job posting to LinkedIn, Indeed and Google Jobs, a hosted job board, structured interview plans, direct-booking interview scheduling, offer letters with e-signature, and API access. Each comes with an allowance, and the limits matter more than the feature list for a busy team:
| Allowance on Foundations | Included | Beyond the allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Sourcing email lookups | 200 a month | Paid add-on |
| Candidate texting (US and Canada) | 1,000 outbound messages a month | $90 per 1,000 |
| AI credits (application review, fraud detection, talent rediscovery) | 1,500 a month | More credits can be bought |
| Offer letter templates | 1 template | Unlimited on Plus |
| Candidate experience surveys | 1 survey | Unlimited on Plus |
A team that recruits at volume will hit the texting and template limits before the price itself. One offer template works for a company with one kind of offer; a business hiring salaried and hourly staff, or in two countries, will need a second template within months.
What costs extra on Foundations
Three items carry their own price on top of the band. SSO is listed at $100 a month on Foundations, or $1,200 a year, which adds 22% to the annual bill of a 26 to 50 employee company. The AI Notetaker, which records, transcribes and summarizes interviews, is a paid add-on on every plan, and Advanced Scheduling (interviewer training, calendar holds, scheduling requests, auto-replacing declined interviewers) is sold separately.
Ashby does not print a price for the AI Notetaker, Advanced Scheduling, extra email lookups or extra AI credits, so any of them means a sales conversation. Implementation is included at the Foundations level; the FAQ reserves a priced Enterprise Implementation Service for its largest customers, with optional Professional Services quoted upfront.
What you need Plus for
Plus is the custom-priced plan for 101 to 1,000 employees, and it is also where several governance features start. These are listed as not available on Foundations:
- SCIM directory sync and a sandbox instance, which an IT team usually requires before connecting an ATS to its identity provider.
- Approval workflows for offers, jobs and openings, plus custom saved reports and custom dashboards.
- Multiple brands (up to five on Plus) and candidate data enrichment as a paid add-on.
SSO is included on Plus rather than billed at $100 a month. Plus also changes the unit of some allowances from per account to per seat: 2,500 AI credits and 2,000 outbound texts per seat per year. Enterprise raises those to 12,500 credits and 3,000 texts per seat per year and adds unlimited brands.
A company of 80 people that needs approval chains or SCIM cannot buy them on Foundations, and has to ask for a Plus quote even below the 100-employee line. For a full side-by-side of Ashby against the incumbent at that size, read Greenhouse vs Ashby.
Ashby Analytics on its own
Ashby Analytics is a separate product for companies of 100+ employees that keep their current ATS. The FAQ names Greenhouse and Lever as the systems it works with, and the pricing page says Analytics is priced on usage, with no list price. It suits a recruiting team that likes its ATS but wants better reporting; anyone open to switching gets the same analytics inside the All-in-One plans.
How Ashby's price compares
Unlike its two best-known rivals, Ashby prints a price. Greenhouse's pricing page says its Core, Plus and Pro plans are customized to each company, and Lever's says pricing is available on request. Our Greenhouse review and Lever review cover what those quotes buy.
Workable is the published-price rival. Its pricing page lists Standard at $299 a month on annual billing, $3,588 a year, for 1 to 20 employees, with 3,000 AI credits on every plan. Against that:
| Company size | Ashby Foundations, annual | Workable Standard, annual | Difference per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 10 employees | $3,240 | $3,588 | Ashby $348 cheaper |
| 11 to 20 employees | $4,320 | $3,588 | Workable $732 cheaper |
The comparison is not like for like. Ashby's single price includes CRM, sequences and analytics, while Workable sells texting, video interviews and assessments as Standard add-ons; our Workable pricing breakdown prices those extras. A team that only needs to post jobs and move candidates through stages pays less on Workable above 10 employees; a team that sources and nurtures candidates gets more per dollar on Ashby.
Is Ashby worth the price?
Ashby makes sense when a company hires steadily and sources its own candidates, because the sequences, CRM and reporting replace tools it would otherwise pay for separately. At $270 a month for a 10-person company on annual billing, it is not a cheap entry ATS, and a founder hiring two people a year will get more value from the free tiers in our best free applicant tracking systems guide.
The weak points are the band jumps, the extra $1,200 a year for SSO on Foundations, unpriced add-ons, and governance features locked behind a custom quote. Before signing, ask Ashby to put in writing which band applies after the annual reassessment and what the Notetaker and Advanced Scheduling would cost. The wider field is in best applicant tracking systems and best ATS for small business, sourcing-first tools are in best recruiting CRM, and how to choose an ATS walks through the buying process.
How we checked these prices
Louis Corneloup, founder of Dupple and Toolradar, wrote this page from Ashby's pricing page, including its plan comparison table and FAQ, read on 18 October 2026. Competitor figures come from Workable's pricing page, Greenhouse's pricing page and Lever's pricing page, read the same day. Annual totals multiply the monthly rate by 12 at list price before tax. FAQ
How much does Ashby cost in 2026?
Ashby's Foundations plan costs $300 a month for 1 to 10 employees, $400 for 11 to 25, $500 for 26 to 50, $700 for 51 to 75 and $900 for 76 to 100, billed monthly, per its pricing page on 18 October 2026. Annual plans save 10%. Companies above 100 employees get a custom Plus or Enterprise quote.
Does Ashby charge per user?
Not on Foundations. Ashby prices its startup plan by total workforce size at the point of purchase, not by seat or talent team size, and reassesses it annually. On Plus and Enterprise, some allowances such as AI credits and outbound texts are counted per seat per year.
Is there a free Ashby plan or trial?
Ashby's pricing page lists no free plan and mentions no free trial; it asks buyers to book a demo and states that the displayed price will not change during the sales process. Teams with no budget should look at free applicant tracking systems instead.
Does Ashby charge for implementation?
Not for most customers. Ashby's FAQ says baseline onboarding and Customer Success support are included for every customer, while its largest customers pay for an Enterprise Implementation Service and optional Professional Services are quoted upfront. Migration from Greenhouse or Lever runs through an API integration that Ashby says takes a day or two.
How much is SSO on Ashby?
SSO costs $100 a month on Foundations, or $1,200 a year, on top of the headcount price. It is included on Plus and Enterprise, which also add SCIM directory sync and a sandbox instance that Foundations lacks.
Is Ashby cheaper than Greenhouse?
Greenhouse publishes no prices, so a direct comparison needs a quote. Ashby's published Foundations rate runs from $270 to $810 a month on annual billing for up to 100 employees. Ashby also sells Analytics as a usage-priced add-on for teams that keep Greenhouse or Lever as their ATS.
