15Five Pricing 2026: Engage, Perform and Total Platform Per User
15Five costs $4, $11 or $16 per user per month in 2026, billed annually. Add-on prices, year totals for 25, 75 and 200 people, and Lattice compared.

15Five costs $4 per user per month for Engage, $11 for Perform and $16 for Total Platform, all billed annually, according to its pricing page read on 19 October 2026 (the page says it was updated in February 2026). The contract is annual only, and 15Five lists no minimum spend for its standard packages. Add-ons for AI coaching, manager training and compensation are priced separately, and those are where the bill grows.
That makes 15Five one of the easier performance tools to budget before a demo: the package rate times headcount times 12 is the core of the invoice. The catch is the add-on shelf, where some items are priced per employee and others per manager, and 15Five warns that optional add-ons may carry their own minimums. Whether the product earns this money is covered in the 15Five review; this page is only about the bill.
Toolradar data: of the 46 performance management tools that Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks as of 19 October 2026, only 10 carry a verified list price. Among those per-user entry plans, 15Five's cheapest package ranks fourth lowest on the performance management ranking.
What does each 15Five plan cost?
15Five sells three packages, and each one is a per-user rate on an annual contract. Total Platform carries the "Most Popular" label on the pricing page.
| Package | Price (billed annually) | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Engage | $4 per user per month | Engagement surveys and eNPS, targeted assessments, action planning, heat maps, benchmarking, lifecycle surveys |
| Perform | $11 per user per month | AI-assisted reviews, OKRs and goals, 360 reviews, 1:1s, weekly check-ins, calibrations, 9-box talent matrix, career paths, Growth Studio |
| Total Platform | $16 per user per month | Everything in Engage and Perform, plus manager training microlearnings and practice prompts |
Engage is a survey product, not a lighter performance plan. It has no reviews, no 1:1 agendas and no OKRs, so a team buying it to run a first review cycle has bought the wrong thing. It fits a company that already runs reviews elsewhere and wants eNPS, onboarding and exit surveys, and benchmark comparisons.
Perform is the package most growing companies actually need. Reviews, goals, check-ins, calibration, succession and development plans (the Growth Studio) all sit in it, along with AMAYA, 15Five's AI assistant, and the Jira and Salesforce integrations. What Perform lacks is the survey layer: engagement surveys, the predictive impact score and industry benchmarking are Engage features.
Total Platform is the two products together plus manager training content. The Engage and Perform rates add up to $15, so the bundle costs one dollar more per user than the two cards side by side. That extra dollar pays for the microlearning modules and in-app nudges. The pricing page does not say whether Engage and Perform can be bought together without the bundle, so ask before you assume the $15 route exists.
What do 15Five's add-ons cost?
Seven add-ons sit below the packages, in three groups. Each is billed annually except coaching credits.
| Add-on | Price | Unit and what it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Manager Content | $49 per manager per month | On-demand learning library and courses for managers |
| Manager Coaching | $399 per credit | Live coaching: a 1:1 session uses 1 credit, a group session uses 5 credits for up to 10 people |
| Kona Notetaker | $2 per employee per month | AI notes for 1:1s and auto-populated review drafts |
| Kona Coach | $19 per manager per month | AI coaching for managers, built on your 15Five data |
| Compensation Base | $9 per user per month | Compensation reviews, pay ranges, total rewards dashboards, HRIS integration |
| Compensation + Salary Benchmarking | $11 per user per month | The base package plus Mercer real-time salary benchmarking |
Watch the unit on each line. Kona Notetaker is charged on every employee, while Kona Coach and Manager Content are charged per manager. A 200-person company with 25 managers pays for 200 notetaker seats but only 25 coach seats, so the cheaper-looking notetaker can end up the larger line.
Live coaching is the one add-on with no annual rate. A group session at 5 credits comes to $1,995 for up to 10 managers, which is about $200 a head when the session is full and much more when it is not. The manager products are also listed as "starting at" prices, so treat them as a floor rather than a quote.
Compensation is the add-on that changes the vendor comparison. At $9 a user on top of Perform, the combined rate reaches $20, which is higher than Lattice's goals-plus-reviews bundle with its compensation add-on, as the comparison below shows.
What does 15Five cost for 25, 75 and 200 employees?
The scenario below multiplies each list rate by 12 and by headcount. It covers the packages only, with no add-ons and no negotiated discount.
| Headcount | Engage per year | Perform per year | Total Platform per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25 employees | $1,200 | $3,300 | $4,800 |
| 75 employees | $3,600 | $9,900 | $14,400 |
| 200 employees | $9,600 | $26,400 | $38,400 |
At 25 people, Perform stays under Lattice's minimum annual agreement, which is why 15Five suits small HR teams that want a full review cycle. At 200 people, Total Platform is a five-figure line that needs a budget owner, and the $12,000 gap between Total Platform and Perform at that size is the price of surveys plus manager training.
Add-ons change the picture quickly. Take a 75-person company with 10 managers that buys Perform, Kona Notetaker and Kona Coach. The notetaker adds $1,800 a year and the coach adds $2,280, so the annual bill reaches $13,980, about 41% more than Perform alone. For a team that wants AI help with 1:1s, that markup is the real price of 15Five, not the package card.
The same company buying Total Platform with Compensation Base pays $14,400 plus $8,100, or $22,500 a year. Compensation alone adds more than half the package cost, which is why the compensation decision deserves its own line in the budget.
Is 15Five cheaper than Lattice or Betterworks?
15Five is cheaper than Lattice for small teams and for reviews with goals, and more expensive once compensation joins the bundle. Lattice's rates were read on Lattice's pricing page on 19 October 2026: Foundations (reviews plus goals) is $13 per seat per month, Performance alone $10, Goals and OKRs $8, Engagement $4, and compensation an add-on at $6. Lattice sets a $4,000 minimum annual agreement.
| Need | 15Five | Lattice | Year cost at 75 employees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reviews plus goals | Perform | Foundations | 15Five $9,900, Lattice $11,700 |
| Surveys only | Engage | Engagement | 15Five $3,600, Lattice $4,000 (the minimum applies) |
| Reviews, goals and compensation | Perform plus Compensation Base | Foundations plus Compensation | 15Five $18,000, Lattice $17,100 |
The minimum is what makes 15Five the small-team pick. At 25 people, Perform is $3,300 a year while Lattice charges at least $4,000 for any product, so the survey-only buyer saves even more with Engage at $1,200. From 84 people, Lattice Engagement clears its floor and the two survey rates match per seat.
Compensation flips the order. Perform plus Compensation Base is $20 a user per month, against $19 for Lattice Foundations plus its compensation add-on, so at 200 people Lattice is $2,400 a year cheaper on the same three jobs. The Lattice vs 15Five comparison covers the feature differences behind that gap, and the Lattice pricing breakdown has Lattice's own headcount scenarios.
Betterworks prints a lower seat rate: Performance is $8 per user per month and Performance plus Talent Intelligence is $9, per Betterworks' plans page. Both include goals and OKRs. The trade-off is implementation, which Betterworks charges as a one-time cost on top of the seat price with no published figure, so the first-year bill cannot be compared line for line.
Culture Amp publishes no list price and bills every product annually, per its plans and pricing page. For Leapsome's module-by-module rates, see the Leapsome pricing guide, and for how Lattice and Culture Amp differ beyond price, the Culture Amp review and Lattice review.
Does 15Five have a free plan or a free trial?
No. 15Five lists no free plan and no free trial on its pricing page; the paths it offers are a demo booking and a "Get started" button on each package. That is typical of the category: the Toolradar performance management ranking counts 7 of its 46 tracked tools with a free plan, and 15Five is not one of them.
Teams that need a no-cost first review cycle should start with the free performance review software list. If an engagement survey is the only goal, Engage is the cheapest paid route here, and the employee engagement software ranking compares it with survey-first tools.
What hidden costs should you plan for?
Five costs sit outside the package rate, and each one is easy to miss on a first quote:
- Annual commitment. 15Five bills every contract annually, so the whole first year is committed at signing. A team unsure about adoption cannot test the product for a quarter and walk away.
- Add-on minimums. The pricing FAQ says some optional add-ons may include minimum requirements and does not list them. Ask for them in writing before you sign.
- Per-employee AI. Kona Notetaker scales with headcount, not with the number of managers who run 1:1s.
- Coaching credits. Live coaching is bought in $399 credits outside the annual rate, so a manager program needs its own budget line.
- Price changes. The page says pricing is subject to change and carries a February 2026 update date, so check the rate again before renewal.
On the other side of the ledger, 15Five states that every customer gets dedicated human support, office hours, training resources and an account manager, and it lists no implementation fee for the standard packages. The HRIS integrations and Slack and SMS notifications are included in all three packages.
Which 15Five plan should you buy?
Buy Perform if you need reviews, goals and 1:1s in one system and run surveys elsewhere or not at all. It is the package that covers the core performance cycle, and at small headcounts it costs less than Lattice's floor.
Buy Engage only when surveys are the whole job. It is the lowest-cost way into 15Five, with no minimum to clear, but it does not run a review cycle.
Buy Total Platform when you want surveys and performance in one place and plan to use the manager training content. If nobody will use the microlearnings, confirm with sales whether Engage plus Perform can be bought separately, since the cards total one dollar less.
Look past 15Five when compensation is part of the purchase at scale, where Lattice's bundle comes out lower, or when you need a broader HR platform with payroll and the employee record. The performance management software ranking and the HR software pricing index put 15Five next to the alternatives, and the OKR software guide helps if goals matter more than reviews.
How we priced this
We read 15Five's pricing page on 19 October 2026 and used its list prices only. Lattice rates come from Lattice pricing, Betterworks rates from Betterworks plans, and Culture Amp's billing terms from Culture Amp plans and pricing, all read the same day. Year totals multiply the per-user monthly rate by 12 and by headcount, and apply Lattice's minimum where the seat math falls under it. Negotiated discounts, taxes and add-on minimums are not included because no vendor publishes them. The product profile sits on Toolradar's 15Five page next to Lattice and Betterworks.
FAQ
How much does 15Five cost in 2026?
15Five costs $4 per user per month for Engage, $11 for Perform and $16 for Total Platform, all billed annually, as listed on its pricing page on 19 October 2026. A 75-person company pays $3,600, $9,900 or $14,400 a year for those packages before add-ons such as Kona or compensation.
Does 15Five have a minimum contract?
15Five lists no minimum spend for its standard packages, which is the main pricing difference from Lattice and its $4,000 annual floor. The contract is billed annually, and 15Five says some optional add-ons may carry minimum requirements that your account executive will explain.
What is the difference between 15Five Perform and Total Platform?
Perform covers reviews, OKRs, 1:1s, check-ins, calibration and career paths. Total Platform adds the Engage survey product (eNPS, lifecycle surveys, benchmarking) plus manager training microlearnings, for $5 more per user per month. At 200 employees that difference is $12,000 a year.
How much does Kona AI cost on 15Five?
Kona Notetaker is $2 per employee per month and Kona Coach is $19 per manager per month, both billed annually. For a 75-person company with 10 managers, the pair adds $4,080 a year to the package price.
Is 15Five cheaper than Lattice?
For reviews plus goals, yes: 15Five Perform is $9,900 a year at 75 employees against $11,700 for Lattice Foundations. Small teams save more, because Lattice bills its annual minimum until Foundations passes 25 seats. With compensation added, Lattice is cheaper per seat by a dollar a month.
Does 15Five offer a free trial?
15Five lists no free plan and no free trial. Buying starts with a demo or a sales conversation, and contracts are annual, so the closest thing to a trial is a scoped first-year contract on Engage or Perform.
