Lattice vs Culture Amp (2026): Which Is Better for HR Teams?
Lattice vs Culture Amp in 2026: Lattice prints seat prices from $4 to $13 a month. Culture Amp prints none, so its cost comes only with a quote.

For most HR teams, Lattice is the safer first call, because it is the only one of the two that publishes a price. Its per-seat rates run from $4 to $13 a month, with a $4,000 annual minimum. Culture Amp publishes no USD figure for any plan, so its cost arrives only with a quote. Lattice also wins on performance reviews and integrations. Culture Amp wins on engagement surveys.
Those figures were read on 10 October 2026 from Lattice's pricing page and Culture Amp's pricing page. The feature lists come from Lattice's integrations page and Culture Amp's integrations page. Toolradar data: as of 10 October 2026, Toolradar lists Lattice as an alternative to 45 tools, second only to BambooHR at 46. The top three on that list are BambooHR, Lattice and Personio, so Culture Amp is not among them. The full category sits in our performance management ranking.
At a glance
| Dimension | Lattice | Culture Amp | Winner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Published price | Per-seat rates from $4 to $13 a month | No USD price on any plan, quote only | Lattice |
| Performance reviews | The Performance product: reviews, calibration, succession planning, performance improvement plans, talent reviews | Perform: reviews and calibration, development plans, AI Coach for writing reviews, quote only | Lattice |
| Engagement surveys | The Engagement module: pulse, onboarding and exit, eNPS, AI analysis | Engage: pulse, benchmarking, ready-made and DEI surveys, retention insights, action plans, quote only | Culture Amp |
| Integrations | 26 named, including Workday, Rippling, Salesforce and Slack | 5 named (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Pave, LifeLabs Learning, Go1), plus a developer API | Lattice |
| Free plan or trial | None listed, only a product tour | None mentioned | Neither |
Price is the one row where the winner is a default rather than a verdict. A Culture Amp quote could still come in below Lattice's list for your headcount, and neither site can tell you which. Lattice takes that row because its price is the only one you can check before a sales call.
What Lattice charges, product by product
Lattice prices per seat per month and bills every contract annually, in US dollars. Its pricing page lists these rates.
| Product | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Foundations | $13 per seat per month | Lattice's package labeled most popular. Its card lists Performance and Goals & OKRs |
| Performance | $10 per seat per month | Performance reviews, calibration, succession planning, promotions, PIPs, talent reviews |
| Goals & OKRs | $8 per seat per month | Cascading goals, progress updates, reminders, Salesforce and Jira integrations |
| Engagement | $4 per seat per month | Pulse, onboarding and exit surveys, eNPS, action planning, AI analysis and trends |
| Compensation | Add-on, +$6 per seat per month | Global benchmarks, comp bands, cycle management, statements |
| Grow | Add-on, +$4 per seat per month | Competencies, development plans, career tracks, AI-powered growth areas |
Every base product includes 1:1s, weekly updates, feedback and Q&A boards. Each one also comes with analytics, an AI agent and integrations. A small team does not need a second purchase to run manager check-ins.
The page contradicts itself on one price. Its FAQ says Performance and Goals & OKRs can each be bought alone for $8 a month, while the Performance card says $10. Ask which one applies before you budget Performance alone.
The $4,000 minimum decides small deals. The minimum applies to the whole agreement, and the page says that agreement can include several products. A contract below 34 Performance seats still bills $4,000 a year. The same floor applies below 26 Foundations seats and below 84 Engagement seats. At 50 seats, Performance comes to $6,000 a year at the card rate, and Foundations to $7,800. Engagement on its own lists at $2,400 for 50 seats, so the minimum turns it into a $4,000 purchase. Those are sums on list rates, not quotes.
Culture Amp gives no figure to set beside any of this. One side of the comparison is a printed rate and the other is a quote, and only the first can be checked before you talk to a salesperson.
Culture Amp's price: what the site does say
Culture Amp prices by employee count, product and service tier, and it bills every product annually. Its pricing page sorts buyers into three size bands, each with its own support.
- Under 200 employees: group customer success support, on-demand training, and 24/5 chat and email support.
- 200 to 999 employees: the same, plus a one-on-one customer success partner and expert project management for implementation.
- 1,000 employees and up: manager and executive training, a results call with a People Scientist, one-on-one and group coaching, and a pre-launch review.
Engage, Perform, the full platform and the People Science Consulting add-on all route to a sales contact with no figure attached. The page also says every plan includes AI Coach, SSO and encryption, Shoutouts, 1-on-1 templates, HRIS integrations, and Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations. So a quote buys the products and the service level, and the core features come with every tier.
Performance reviews: Lattice names the workflows
Lattice's Performance product names succession planning, promotions, PIPs, talent reviews and calibration, all in one product. Culture Amp's Perform lists performance reviews and calibration, continuous feedback, 1-on-1 conversations, goal management and development plans. Its page does not name succession planning or PIPs. The full read on the Lattice side is in the Lattice review, and the wider field sits in best performance management software.
Culture Amp is stronger on the manager's side of the review. Its Perform page presents AI Coach as the built-in helper for writing reviews and handling hard conversations. Lattice has an AI agent that coaches managers in the flow of work, but its page does not say it helps write a review.
Pick Lattice if your review cycle runs through calibration, talent review and performance improvement plans. Pick Culture Amp if the problem is managers who cannot write the review, not a missing workflow.
Engagement surveys: Culture Amp goes deeper
Culture Amp's Engage lists benchmarking, ready-made surveys, a DEI survey, retention insights, a Performance Culture Quadrant survey, onboarding and offboarding surveys, pulse surveys, AI comment summaries and action plans. Benchmarking, retention insights and a DEI survey are not on Lattice's Engagement list.
Lattice's Engagement module covers pulse surveys, onboarding and exit, eNPS, action planning and AI analysis. Its seat price is the only survey price in this pair you can check before a call. The module is the shallower product, and its page names no benchmarks and no retention analysis. The full read on the Culture Amp side is in the Culture Amp review, and the survey field is covered in best employee engagement software and best employee survey tools.
Pick Culture Amp if the survey exists to compare your company with others or to explain attrition. Pick Lattice if eNPS, pulse and action plans cover the need and its entry seat rate is the budget line.
Integrations: Lattice names more, Culture Amp offers an API
Lattice's integrations page names 26 products. Twelve are HRIS systems: ADP, BambooHR, Gusto, HiBob, Humaans, Namely, Personio, Rippling, TriNet, UKG, Workday and Zenefits. The rest are five single sign-on providers, four communication tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Google Suite), Jira and Salesforce, and three AI tools: Claude, Glean and OpenAI.
Culture Amp's integrations page names five: Slack and Microsoft Teams for flow of work, Pave for compensation, and LifeLabs Learning and Go1 for learning. It says the product syncs with your HR system of record, but the page names none of those systems. It also offers a Developer API for pulling people data into your own reporting. Lattice's integrations page does not mention an API.
Pick Lattice if your HRIS is on its list, especially Workday, Rippling, Gusto or BambooHR. Confirm a Culture Amp connector with its sales team before you rely on one, because its page names no HRIS partner. Pick Culture Amp if a data team needs to build its own reports from the people data.
Who should choose which
Choose Lattice when you want a number before a sales call, when your review cycle includes talent reviews and PIPs, or when your HRIS is on its integration list. A 50-seat team can estimate the cost from the table above before it talks to anyone.
Choose Culture Amp when benchmarking or retention analysis drives the purchase, or when a data team needs an API. Budget it from the quote alone, because there is no published figure to check the quote against.
Choose neither if the budget is zero. Neither vendor lists a free plan or a free trial. Lattice's free tour is a product walkthrough, not a trial. For a free option, see best free HR software.
If the decision also involves the HRIS itself, BambooHR vs HiBob compares two systems of record, and how much an HRIS costs prices the category. For a wider set of suites, see best HR software and best HRIS for mid-market.
Where the pages disagree or stay silent
- Lattice: the FAQ's $8 unbundled price for Performance conflicts with its $10 card.
- Lattice: the page does not say what the Foundations price covers beyond the products its card lists, or whether Engagement is billed on top of it.
- Lattice: its integrations page does not mention an API.
- Culture Amp: no USD figure on any plan, at any tier.
- Culture Amp: its integrations page names no HRIS partner, and its Perform list names no succession planning or PIPs.
Ask both sales teams these questions before you compare the quotes.
For Lattice:
- Which Performance price applies, $8 on its own or $10 on the card?
- Which products sit inside the Foundations price, and is Engagement billed on top?
- Does the annual minimum apply to the whole contract, and what is my per-seat price at my headcount?
For Culture Amp:
- What is the annual per-employee price for Engage and Perform at my headcount and service tier?
- Which HRIS systems sync natively, and is the Developer API included in my tier?
- Does Perform include succession planning and performance improvement plans?
How we checked
Prices and feature lists come from the two vendors' own pages, read on 10 October 2026. We did not test either product, so every claim here is what the vendor publishes. Lattice's pricing page does not date its figures. Toolradar figures come from our directory as of 10 October 2026, and our profiles are Lattice and Culture Amp.
FAQ
Is Lattice cheaper than Culture Amp in 2026?
Lattice is the only one of the two with a published price, so a direct comparison is not possible. At 50 seats, its Performance product lists at $6,000 a year at the card rate, and Foundations at $7,800. Culture Amp prices by employee count and tier, and it publishes no figure. Ask for a quote before you assume either is cheaper.
Does Culture Amp publish its prices?
No. Its pricing page gives no USD figure for Engage, Perform, the full platform or People Science Consulting. Every product is billed annually, and the route to a number runs through a sales contact.
Does Lattice offer a free plan or a free trial?
Neither. Lattice's pricing page offers a free product tour and a demo request, and it has an annual minimum agreement. Culture Amp's pricing page mentions neither a free plan nor a trial.
Which is better for performance reviews?
Lattice, when your cycle includes succession planning, talent reviews and performance improvement plans, because its Performance product names all three. Culture Amp, when managers struggle with the writing, because its AI Coach is built into Perform.
Do both integrate with Slack and Workday?
Both integrate with Slack. Lattice's integrations page names Workday, while Culture Amp's page names no HRIS partner and describes only a general sync with HR systems. Confirm a Culture Amp Workday connection in writing before you rely on it.
