This is employee training, not a course storefront. One bills active logins. Two are free to host yourself. iSpring publishes a per-user year.
TalentLMS yearly in USD on active logins: Core $119 a month (1–40 users), Grow $229, Pro $449. A free plan exists. iSpring LMS Business: $6.91 per user per month at 100 users ($8,286 a year), cheaper per user at 300 and 500. Moodle, Open edX and Canvas LMS (open source) are free to self-host. Instructure's hosted Canvas is a different, sales-quoted product. This is not a creator course platform list.
LMS products get sold as one word. They are two markets. Creator platforms sell courses to the public. This page is the other job: getting employees through onboarding, compliance and role training, then proving they finished.
The bill, when there is one, is usually active users or a per-user year.
A $119 TalentLMS Core cap at 40 people is not iSpring's $8,286 year at 100. Self-hosted Moodle is $0 until you count the admin. Lining those up as "LMS pricing" without the unit is how HR buys a creator tool or an enterprise quote they will not implement.

What it is
A learning management system assigns courses, tracks completions and stores certificates. For employees it also needs SSO, org units and reports a people team can hand to an auditor. Creator platforms (Thinkific, LearnWorlds) optimize for checkout and marketing.
They are a different page. The tools below are for internal training, including the free servers you can run yourself.
Why it matters
TalentLMS meters users who log in, not headcount. A 200-person company that trains 35 people this month can sit on Core. iSpring's published Business math is a year of seats you bought, not logins. Open-source LMS software is free and still costs an admin and hosting.
Buying the wrong unit is how a "cheap LMS" becomes a surprise invoice the month everyone is assigned compliance.
