Lead Generation for HR Software: Supply by Company Size

Only 372 new subscribers who chose Human Resources as their role are decision-makers at 51+ companies (5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026). Supply, rules and limits.

Human Resources has the highest share of 51+ employee respondents among the ten roles that have a row in Dupple's data: 53.4% of the 2,967 new subscribers who chose it, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, against 28.0% of all respondents. The pool is small, however: 372 of those people are decision-makers at 51+ companies in 90 days, and a pilot should be sized on that count.

HRpresso has no newsletter. The figures come from new subscribers to any of Dupple's six newsletters who answered the post-signup quiz, and the quiz has no breakdown by newsletter, so none of the numbers describes this site's readers. Dupple's Lead Generation product sells clicks or leads, paid by cost per click (CPC) or cost per lead (CPL).

Quick answer

  • 2,967 new subscribers chose Human Resources as their role: 2.3% of 130,965 quiz answers, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026.
  • Among them, 53.4% work at 51+ companies, while the figure across everyone who answered is 28.0%.
  • 372 are decision-makers at 51+ companies, and 85 of those (22.8%) use a non-consumer email domain, an upper bound for work addresses.
  • No click rate exists for HR across industries. The two HR click rows rest on 96 and 43 people, both small.

Source: Dupple quiz answers, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days), read 3 Nov 2026. The quiz has 14 roles. Ten have an any-industry row, shown here sorted by share at 51+. Executive & Leadership, Design & Creative, Strategy & Consulting and Other have no such row.

51+: a company of 51 or more employees (the quiz sizes 51-200, 201-1000 and 1000+). Decision-maker: a respondent who picked Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP as job level.

Who sits inside the HR role

Across the 2,967 HR respondents from 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days), company size splits 23.7% at 1000+, 15.8% at 201-1000, 13.8% at 51-200, 22.9% at Just me and 10.2% at 2-10. Dupple's data puts 39.5% of them at 201+ companies. By job level, Manager is at 24.8%, ahead of Individual Contributor at 14.3%, Director/VP at 11.8%, Founder at 8.2% and C-Suite at 2.3%.

Within the role, Technology respondents are a small sample: 344 people (5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, 90 days), 61.0% at 51+ and 56 decision-makers at 51+. Across all 130,965 quiz answers in that window, 28.6% are decision-makers, and the post-signup audience profile gives the wider picture. The HR audience guide has the same role rows.

The senior pool is small

The 372 HR decision-makers at 51+ companies are 4.0% of the 9,381 decision-makers at 51+ across all respondents (372 / 9,381 = 3.97%, rounded to 4.0%). Of those 372, 85 (22.8%) use a non-consumer email domain, an upper bound for work addresses, against 19.9% of all decision-makers at 51+ (1,864 of 9,381). Non-consumer email: the sign-up address is not on one of about 50 consumer mailbox providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and the like), so it is an upper bound for a work address. Both are 90-day counts, so neither the 372 nor the 85 should be turned into a monthly figure.

Source: Dupple Offer Network, offer-card views and clicks from quiz respondents, read 3 Nov 2026. Click rate is clicks divided by card views over 30 days, counting the offer wall, emails and partner sites together.

Neither HR row is a forecast for HR software, and the data stops at the click. Example target, not a forecast: at the 8.0% network rate, 100 clicks come from 1,250 card views (100 / 0.080 = 1,250).

How a campaign would be targeted

The live Lead Generation page lets an advertiser filter on five things: industry, job level, role, company size and country. Country is set at country level, with strict mode available, and device, the newsletter the reader joined and email-domain exclusion are further levers. When an offer is set to targeted readers only, targeting applies to readers who answered the quiz, and a reader with no answer to a rule's question cannot match that rule. Country is not a quiz answer, and the page does not say how an unknown country is handled.

Rule A, company size 201+ employees:

  • Role: Human Resources
  • Company size: 201-1000 and 1000+ employees

Supply for Rule A: the rule has no job-level condition, so its supply is the 39.5% of the 2,967 HR respondents at 201+ companies, with no printed count. 283 of them are decision-makers, but the rule does not require that.

Rule B, US managers and directors:

  • Role: Human Resources
  • Job level: Manager and Director/VP
  • Country: United States, strict mode

Dupple's data has no count for this combination. It gives Manager at 24.8% and Director/VP at 11.8% of the role, and 52.5% of HR respondents with a known country have the United States recorded as their country (country is known for 78.8% of the role). Those are separate shares, so do not multiply them.

What the flow is

A new subscriber to one of Dupple's six newsletters answers a short quiz with fixed options. Offers can then appear on the offer wall after the quiz, in the welcome email and in follow-up emails, and in some countries a single-offer screen comes before the wall. A reader who sees an offer chose to look, so it implies no sales-call request, no marketing-qualified lead (MQL) and no intent data. Pricing is not shown on the Lead Generation page, which asks applicants for the cost per click or cost per lead they want.

The lead definition is not published: ask us. For what counts after signup, see what counts as a lead.

Offers that fit

The Lead Generation page lists broad B2B tech offers, self-serve tools that capture an email address, eBooks and guides, and trials of self-serve products. The data cannot rank them for HR readers. If you market HR software, the categories this site reviews are applicant tracking systems, employee engagement software and free HR software, with the full list in the reviews index. The editorial policy sets out this site's rules.

Limits

  • The senior end is thin. 372 HR decision-makers at 51+ companies in 90 days caps what a pilot can reach.
  • Answers are self-reported and picked from a fixed list. Company size is blank for 4.0% of HR respondents, and country is unknown for 21.2%.
  • No breakdown by newsletter, so no HR figure can be tied to a Dupple title or to this site.
  • Windows differ. People and email counts cover 90 days and click rates cover 30 days. The 37,942 people who saw cards in 30 days are a different population from the 130,965 quiz answers in 90 days. Methods are on the audience and lead data page.

FAQ

Which subscribers does the 2,967 leave out?

The 2,967 covers only people who answered the post-signup quiz and picked Human Resources, so it excludes subscribers who skipped the quiz and anyone who picked another role. The window is 90 days, from 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, so the figure is not a monthly count.

Does the HR role skew toward bigger employers?

Yes. Over the 90 days from 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, 53.4% of HR respondents report 51+ employees against 28.0% of all 130,965 respondents. In percentage points the gap is widest at the top: 23.7% of HR respondents are at 1000+ companies, against 12.9% of all respondents.

How big is the senior HR pool?

372 people in the 90 days to 3 Nov 2026, which is 12.5% of the HR role. Of them, 85 (22.8%) use a non-consumer email domain, an upper bound for work addresses.

What click rate should an HR software seller plan on?

None of the HR rows, which are small: Technology HR is 8.8% on 96 people and Finance & Banking HR is 6.7% on 43, both over the 30 days to 3 Nov 2026. The 8.0% network rate covers the 37,942 quiz respondents who saw offer cards in that window, not this site's readers. No click-to-lead rate is published.
